Directions to Hermanus
Directions from Cape Town International Airport to 14a Francolin Close, Hermanus Heights, Hermanus.
Write down the mileage on the car, or reset the trip meter.
The journey is 111 km, and should take about 75 minutes.
It is very simply two roads and two streets.
When exiting the Airport take the N2 to Somerset West, NOT towards Cape Town.
Travel on the N2 through Somerset West and over the Hottentot mountains.
After 73.3 km leave the N2 at junction 90 and drive on the R43.
The R43 takes you through the centre of Hermanus, in which there is a set of robots (traffic lights) where you are obliged to turn left. At this point you should have travelled 107.7 km.
Continue along the main road for exactly 1.3 km, where there is a Shell petrol station on your left. Turn LEFT there.
Drive for 0.5 km (with the golf course on your right) when there is a sharp left hand bend. Immediately after the bend, turn RIGHT.
Follow this road for 1.1 km to a STOP sign. Go straight across, and 100m on your left, the first turn, is Francolin Close. The name is written on the kerbstone, and is a Cul-de-Sac. The houses are at the end of the Close.
